A story behind mid autumn festival

In ancient China, there was a province who was ruled by barbarians. The villagers were totally outnumbered by the barbarians who have weapons and spears. The villagers are not allowed to carry any weapons or they will be executed. So one day, someone thought of an idea to wage a rebellion against the tyrant barbarians. The mastermind began to distribute free cakes which are round and sweet. The cakes were not known as moon cakes back then. There’s a piece of paper hidden in each cake with a message that every villager will rebel on the full moon this month. The cakes were distributed to every villagers without being noticed by the barbarians. When the full moon comes, the barbarians were attacked by surprise and successfully overthrown by the villagers thanks to their team and collective effort.
Moral : Man are simple yet complicated creatures. Yet they are able to deliver during struggling times. When there’s a will, there’s always a way.
